Micas Networks Launches Three 102.4T Open Ethernet Platforms for AI Factories at OCP Global Summit 2026
Yahoo Finance ·
Micas Networks has unveiled three 102.4 Tbps open Ethernet switch platforms tailored for next-generation artificial intelligence factories at the OCP Global Summit 2026, running from October 12 to 15 in San Jose. Powered by Broadcom Tomahawk 6 technology, the newly introduced portfolio encompasses an 800G air-cooled system, a 1.6T liquid-cooled configuration, and a 1.6T co-packaged optics platform. According to CEO Andrew Qu, these solutions provide hyperscalers and cloud operators with a flexible migration path from 800G to 1.6T and CPO architectures while maintaining network openness. The 4RU and 2RU models are scheduled for production in the fourth quarter of 2026, followed by the 1RU CPO system in the first quarter of 2027, empowering operators to scale high-performance AI back-end fabrics efficiently.

상승 영향
- AI — The introduction of open Ethernet platforms with a 102.4Tbps capacity resolves network bottlenecks in AI factories and improves infrastructure scalability.
- Semiconductors — Mass production of next-generation switches applying Broadcom's Tomahawk 6 ASIC and 200G SerDes technologies is expected to drive chip sales growth.
DYAX 전담 분석
This news indicates a surge in demand for high-performance network equipment and semiconductors driven by the accelerated expansion of AI infrastructure. The application of 102.4Tbps switching technology based on Broadcom's Tomahawk 6 maximizes bandwidth density and power efficiency in data centers, directly leading to increased revenue for related chip and equipment suppliers.
The bullish scenario is a sharp increase in networking equipment orders due to expanded investments in AI factories by big tech companies, while the bearish scenario is delayed adoption caused by supply chain disruptions or cost burdens. Key monitoring indicators are actual order volumes and the adoption rate of liquid-cooled and CPO technologies after mass production begins in the fourth quarter of 2026.
