Yahoo Finance ·
Artificial intelligence firm Anthropic derived 48% of its revenue via cloud marketplace transactions involving Alphabet's Google, Amazon.com, and Microsoft in the first half of 2026, according to an IPO prospectus published Monday. This marks a significant increase from 11% in 2023. During the second quarter, Anthropic posted $11.6 billion in sales alongside an operating profit of $974 million, while characterizing these cloud giants as simultaneous investors, clients, distributors, and rivals. Amazon has invested roughly $18 billion, and Google has injected approximately $23 billion into the enterprise. Furthermore, Anthropic has committed to extensive cloud spending, including at least $114.5 billion with Google through 2033, $110 billion with Amazon through 2036, and $44.9 billion with Microsoft for computing infrastructure.

DYAX 전담 분석
As 48% of Anthropic's revenue is concentrated on the cloud platforms of Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, Big Tech companies' dominance over the AI infrastructure ecosystem is further strengthening. These cloud partners act simultaneously as investors, customers, and competitors, securing visibility into Anthropic's pricing policies and commercial terms.
If these Big Tech companies favor their own AI models in the future, Anthropic's profitability could take a hit, whereas the expansion of the infrastructure ecosystem directly translates to increased cloud revenue. Investors must closely monitor Big Tech's AI chip demand and cloud marketplace growth indicators.
