Here’s Why AI Insurer Lemonade (LMND) May Skyrocket in 2027 Farooq Thu, November 5, 2026 at 5:32 PM EST 3 min read LMND -10.63% SPCX -9.58% TSLA -12.07% Our list of the 10 Stocks That Could Skyrocket in 2027 is out, and Lemonade (NYSE:LMND) came in eighth. SpaceX's public debut in June gave investors a new yardstick for how fast a space-linked stock can move, in both directions. Since then, shares of newer space companies have swung hard around SpaceX's latest report. Yahoo Finance reported on October 21 that SpaceX opened with its biggest jump since the debut, after third-quarter revenue and profit beat Wall Street estimates. The company's AI business now brings in nearly half of its sales. Elon Musk said on the earnings call that SpaceX and Tesla have each formed special committees of independent directors to study a combination, and that he cannot take part in the decision as a conflicted party, Yahoo Finance reported. Gene Munster of Deepwater Asset Management puts the odds of a deal within two years at 95%. A merged company would be worth about $3.5 trillion. For a look at how the smaller rival compares, see our piece on how SpaceX stacks up against Rocket Lab . Spending is rising too. Chris Versace of Tematica Research wrote on October 21 that SpaceX's plan to spend $35 billion to $40 billion in the fourth quarter points to a new and higher level of capital spending than the market expected. He noted that a $63 billion backlog supports it. Insurance is the one industry Porter Stansberry says he knows better than almost anyone on Wall Street, and he told Emmet Savage that Lemonade is compelling and that he had not found it himself. Savage's MyWallSt service pitches the company as the first of three potential 100-baggers, and he says he is investing heavily with his own cash. Savage describes an AI-first insurer that grew revenue 53% over the past year and went from 1 million to 3 million customers in record time. He says its models bring software-like efficiency to a multi-trillion-dollar industry that is still stuck in the past, and that the flywheel of new customers keeps spinning faster. The stock is one of the picks in Savage's Nova advisory service. The stock dipped this year along with most others, then jumped almost 30% in a single month, which Savage reads as investors noticing the mistake. He says the company could become the biggest winner of the next decade while almost nobody is paying attention to it. Revenue has grown 50.72% a year over the past five years.
