Gorilla Technology Secures Multi-Year Taiwan AI Contract Worth Tens of Millions of Dollars

Gorilla Technology Group (NASDAQ:GRRR) has secured a multi-year contract worth tens of millions of dollars to expand artificial intelligence and analytics infrastructure for an existing government customer in Taiwan. The London-headquartered company said the agreement covers intelligence data integration, AI-powered analytics and accelerated computing infrastructure for an unnamed criminal investigation bureau. Gorilla described the customer as the largest bureau of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region. The new contract follows an earlier deployment for the same organisation. Contract Includes Nvidia B300 GPU Infrastructure Under the agreement, Gorilla will expand the customer’s existing technology infrastructure with next-generation intelligence data integration and AI analytics capabilities. The project includes accelerated computing systems incorporating Nvidia B300 graphics processing units (GPUs), which are designed to support demanding AI workloads. Gorilla will also provide three years of maintenance, technical support and system enhancements. The company did not disclose the contract’s exact financial value, identifying it only as being worth tens of millions of dollars. Deployment Scheduled Through Fourth Quarter of 2027 Implementation is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 and continue through the fourth quarter of 2027. The programme will build on the customer’s existing systems rather than replace them. According to Gorilla, the expanded infrastructure is intended to provide a scalable foundation for investigative analytics within a secure operating environment. The project combines computing hardware with data integration and analytical software, extending the scope of the company’s previous work for the Taiwanese customer. Gorilla Highlights Expansion of Existing Customer Relationship Jay Chandan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Gorilla Technology, said the agreement reflected the development of the company’s relationship with the government customer. “Winning a major national programme is difficult. Being asked to come back, expand what you have built and take on an even larger part of the customer’s technology architecture says something very different. It means you have earned trust,” Chandan said. The new contract increases Gorilla’s involvement in the customer’s technology architecture, adding computing capacity and analytics capabilities to its existing deployment. Taiwan Operations Expand Beyond Hardware Supply Jackie Wang, Gorilla Technology’s Country Head for Taiwan, said the agreement “represents a significant expansion of Gorilla’s footprint in Taiwan”. Wang noted that the contract extends beyond hardware provision to encompass intelligence data integration and AI-driven analytics. Gorilla Technology provides AI and deep learning solutions across government, public safety, telecommunications, retail and other sectors. The Taiwan agreement adds a multi-year infrastructure project to its operations, with deployment scheduled to continue until late 2027 and maintenance and support included in the contract.
