Vivani in pact with Novo to study Wegovy implant

Vivani Medical ( VANI ) on Tuesday announced an agreement with Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) to evaluate its NanoPortal implant NPM-139 for the long-term administration of semaglutide, the Danish drugmaker’s GLP-1 therapy marketed as Wegovy for weight loss.
