Google, FBI disrupt NetNut malware proxy network

Alphabet's ( GOOG ) ( GOOGL ) Google said Thursday that it has disrupted a major network of internet-connected devices used to mask and route malicious web traffic, targeting the NetNut residential proxy service and the Popa botnet.
