Schwab Trading Activity Index touches four-year high in June

Editor's note: Schwab corrected its June figure to 59.21 instead of 59.12. The Schwab Trading Activity Index, also called STAX, rose to 59.21 in June, up from 55.08 in May and representing its highest point in four years, Schwab said Monday. This was corrected on 07/06/2026, 1:47 PM. Schwabe corrects June STAX number to 59.21 vs. number originally released as 59.12.
