Northern Trust to sell Guardianship Services business to Wintrust

Northern Trust ( NTRS ) agreed to sell its guardianship services business to Wintrust Financial's ( WTFC ) Wintrust Private Trust Company. The business manages ~$1.2B in assets under management. Northern Trust's guardianship team is expected to join Wintrust upon completion of the transaction.
