Zoom to buy AI startup Common Room to bolster sales software

Zoom Communications ( ZM ) said on Thursday it will acquire AI startup Common Room, expanding its AI offerings for sales teams. The videoconferencing company has been investing beyond its core meetings business by acquisitions and increased R&D spending.
