Advanced Micro Devices ( NASDAQ:AMD ) shares climbed about 7% on Thursday after the chipmaker said it is partnering with AI infrastructure provider 5C to develop next-generation gigascale AI campuses. AMD said the collaboration will combine its AI hardware portfolio with 5C's expertise in designing, building and operating large-scale AI infrastructure.
