On June 22, Super Micro Computer introduced its Data Center Building Block Solutions/DCBBS Blueprint for HPC, featuring the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL4 platform. The scalable solution includes 3.2MW units that house up to 1,152 NVIDIA Rubin GPUs and 576 NVIDIA Vera CPUs. Each rack utilizes advanced direct liquid cooling (DLC-2) technology capable of supporting 362 kW, ensuring the thermal stability and efficiency required for large-scale clusters ranging from 3.2MW to 1GW. Supermicro's DCBBS methodology provides a comprehensive sequence for infrastructure buildout, encompassing project planning, on-site facility surveys, and system-level testing prior to delivery. By integrating compute, networking, and power distribution, the solution aims to reduce time-to-online for research institutions while maintaining the rigor required for mission-critical scientific workloads.
